The position will be accountable for all technical decisions made in an effort to bring a solution to a trouble ticket or outage. In other proactive situations, such as change control requests, decisions re subject tot eh approval of the Director and other department heads. The position serves as the primary tehnical resource and as such, will be responsible for maintaing the skill set necessary to be effective. Employee is acountable for all dealines set by the Director. Employee is accountable for all projects assigned tohim/her and meeting the dealine set. Employee is responsible for all decisions, communications, and actions performed RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Provide first line support when system failures occur
- Provide on-the-spot recommendations for fixes to bring the LAN/WAN production components back on-line quickly and effciently
- Respond to any/all service tickets
- Work with Engineering team to resolve any issues
- Performs network maintenance
- Perform upgrades to LAN/WAN; Circuit bumps, moves, terminations; Fluking
- Structured Cabling, patching
- On-Call particiapation in 24/7 support with availability in the event of any escalations
